New York is beginning to become a frozen heart. This week has been filled with celebrations and failures.
To start: I spent all day on the UB set which was totally awesome. Yes, for hours I was just sitting there, observing, but I loved every second of it. I finished my online drawing course, Thank you Lord, and I had an amazing cupcake.
The Twilight Fancraze started yesterday, so with advanced tickets, Sherra and I went. I knew it would be bad. Our sets were awful, we were surrounded by screaming girls who goo’ed over Edward Cullen every set frame, the movie was cheesy, bad acting, and terrible, just as I suspected, and somehow, it made everything alright. I set myself up for badness, and that’s what I got, and I’m not dissapointed. Somehow it made everything okay. I became somewhat lonely watching the film, with the cheesy gestures of a first love. Oy Vey.
On other sad news, Pushing Daises was canceled yesterday. I knew it was coming. And I did all that I could as a fan, I watched the show weekley, bought the dvd, ate pie, and wrote a “Save Pushing Daisies” letter to ABC. I am pretty sad. Yes, to not see the beautiful made-up world and their creative stories, but to not watch Ned, the Pie Maker, on a weekly basis.
Sad and lonely week eh?
In other terms I bought a 217 dollar hat yesterday. It’s the most amazing hat ever.
Random blog? Yes. But I wanted to get some things out of my system.
