Since I’ve been at SCAD I’ve worked at the radio station, meaning work on Fridays. It’s been a long time here in Savannah that I’ve had a 3 day weekend. Over 2 years. WELL, I had a 3-day weekend! AND IT WAS !@#$ING AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I could get use to this. I’ve been slowly productive, social, lazy, and clean. It’s nice.
In other news, I have a busy week coming up. Tomorrow I have to fill out my graduation papers (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!???????????!?!?!?!!?) On Tuesday I am having a Q&A with Ty Pennington (I.E. Extreme Home Makever/ Trading Spaces) and on Thursday I am throwing my first ever college party. I told you I was busy. NOT TO MENTION THE SCHOOL WORK! (I.E. Draw naked people/shade hands and feet/film a short film/group project for psychology)
It looks like I will be heading out to LA this summer. John Bissell is the music supervisor for Ugly Betty and I think it’s going to work out where I can work with him this summer. A.) I want to experience LA and see what it has to offer B.) All throughout college I’ve been questioning what I want to do, however with Music Supervising at the top of my list. So I will finally have some questions answered which is awesome!!! Plus he seems like a really cool guy, not-to-mention I get to expand my music knowledge (there’s ALWAYS room for more believe it or not!)
So, if you will be in the LA area this summer, let me know, because I really need a place to stay. :-D I’m clean, I don’t smoke, I’m not a partier, I’m single, and I’m quiet. (Besides the whole music thing)
OH! Did I mention I go to bed EXTREMELY early!?!?!?!?!?! Did I say I was quiet???? Because I am.
I also need a part time job. I really want to work in a shack on the beach that rents surf boards. A. Because it’s cliché typical, and I love that !@#$. B.) Because I’ve never surfed before, and why not start in Cali? Maybe I can be like that Disney movie “Rip Girls,” remember that one?
Anyways, I rented some flics, so I suppose I am going to go watch them (I.E- Synecdoche, New York, 200 Cigarettes, Mystery Men.) Speaking of flics, I saw Adventureland last night. It wasn’t awesome, and it wasn’t awful. I do have to say though, once I slept on it, I do like it a little more. The whole “1987” vibe was nice.
