I got some business cards this week. It feels very professional and it put me in a very business-y mood and I thought “Well, it’s time to start cracking down.” Business cards first, now I really gotta work on my website. It’s awful and I thought “Wherever I work this summer, I want them to see my website thats on my business cards and I want it to look nice.” So a friend of mine, Ned, who graduated from SCAD in graphic design is going to do my site. I’m so excited. I just met with her last night and she already has designs. It’s going to be very simple, elegant, and pretty. I am so excited, and I am also going to have some of my films on there. (IE. Lavender Hills, Glass Half Empty) So it’s pretty exciting!!!!!!! I will keep you updated. That means this blog is going to change some, it has to look nice since the site will look nice. That’s a good thing though. At times I want to have a really graphic-y site with lots of pictures and colours, but in the long run I know that this is the way to go, and I love simple things.
Anyways, everything else is pretty much going to hell. Lots of drawing, lots of filming, social ties, summer plans, what the hell am I going to eat for dinner since I have nothing? Making the bed. Sheesh. Life is crazy, you know?
In other news, Drew and I went bowling last night. It was X-Treme bowling, where you pay 20 flat and then bowl however long you want. We must have bowled at least 10 games. He beat me at every single one except 1. I got a 113! I was so proud, I’ve never done that well at bowling. I started to do well once Snoop Dogg came on, so I now know my lucky charm. I teased Drew all night for forgetting his socks, therefore having to use the bowling alley’s socks again. The whole night it didn’t cross my mind at all that I was wearing flip flops and would have to do the same. I didn’t realize until I had the bowling shoes in my hand and looked down. Bowling Alley socks= gross. Drew swears they are new, but I strongly disagree.
Well! Back to work!!!! I will keep you updated though! The site is going to be so lovely!
XoXo,
Lindsay
