dear loves,
i am so sincerely sorry i have not updated in a few days.
i have been so incredibly busy or so incredibly boring this week!
to start off, i made a more-than-awesome video blog for you this week, but youtube apparently does not appreciate my services anymore of dancing around to popular music. (so i’ve had to deal with that this week) but don’t worry, i am thinking of alternatives so in the soon future you’ll see me up on my toes and prancing around once again.
thursday night i threw a baking party at the chateau. i had glitters and sprinkles and icings and little knick-knacks, it was adorable. i bought a lot of mikes hard lemonade (because i thought it would be really girly) but we drank it before the baking, and then the baking turned out to be really……interesting. haha! but we still had a lot of fun!

we made so many cupcakes!!!!
yesterday morning we filmed the grand finale of the bakeumentary at my favourite spot in savvy, back in the day bakery. it was more than awesome! and the workers are so so cool!
i don’t think i’ve ever gone a day in my life without eating a single thing, but that’s what i did yesterday, food just never came at a convenient time. (i know this is random)
i decided to hang out with someone new yesterday (which can always be a bit tricky or a bit odd) but he came over at 4:30 and before i knew it, it was nearly 1:00 in the morning. just pure conversation. and i can’t describe just how nice that is. to talk, about whatever in the world, and watch someone unfold before you. (it was probably in the top of one of the best conversations i’ve ever had, because original, unique, interesting people are so rare to find, and that’s exactly how he is.) it was also very inspiring. with my new optimistic view on life, it’s so inspiring to talk to someone who is so comfortable with themselves, and that’s just what i’ve been trying to do the past few months (and will continue to do for quite some time)
but i encourage everyone to walk outside, find someone interesting, and just talk. it’ll help you more than you’ll know.
at one point in the conversation we were talking about native americans, and he was saying that one thing native american literature said was to touch the ground and look at the sun once a day and that really stuck with me. because it’s something i don’t do, and i don’t know why, and that impacted me so much i think everyday for the rest of my life i will do that now.
well, today is halloween, i woke up to the sound of a hundred kids outside my window waiting to walk in the parade. (i wasn’t a happy camper) but oh well, things happen. alicia and i are going out tonight (so there will be some flippin sweet pictures on here tomorrow)
and here is the big news:
the savannah film festival starts today!!!!
this is my favourite favourite favourite part of the school year. for the next week i’ll just be watching films 24/7 from the a.m to the p.m
i will be keeping you updated!
well, enough of that, have a happy and safe halloween (and i’m sorry again for not posting sooner, that won’t happen for awhile)
love you all!
xoxo,
lindsay
