i think the woody allen photo is my favourite out of this set. he’s so composed and stanced, yet the photo is comical because of his reputation, he just looks so darn classy! i like the umbrella tree also, i will forever think of the brothers bloom whenever i see an orange umbrella.
mary poppins was on last night. did you watch it? it is my second favourite disney film of all time (beauty and the best being the first.) my favourite film character of ALL FILM HISTORY is in mary poppins, and that is bert (played by dick van dyke)
(mr. darcy is technically a novel character so he doesn’t count, yet cameron frye is in a very very close tie with bert)
i was even bert for halloween a few years ago:

bert is just so upbeat and charming and boy can he move!!! over the years i’ve seen quite a few mary poppins videos, and i am here to show you my favourites. each one is special in its own way (so watch them all):
i shall start with a traditional, un-edited scene from the film. it could possibly be in my top five favourite film scenes of all time (wouldn’t that be a great post? something to work on…) so everybody step-in-time!!!
now that you’ve seen the original, let’s dub it to michael jackson. quite entertaining (now you know how michael got his moves)…
and lastly with the step-in-times, you must watch the broadway version, or at least fast forward to 5:30, i was crying tears of happiness when i saw this a few years back!
4 years ago i was obsessed with this (now i’m not sure why) it is fun though….
and of course i’m sure you’ve seen scary mary, if not, then you must watch it:
this guy makes really interesting, wonderful music to different films, and i love the one he did for mary! (you should check out his other stuff like alice in wonderland and hook!)
